Over 50 Years of Hairdressing Excellence

Founded in 1972 by Mary Sloan, Clippers has been a proud family business serving Dublin communities for more than five decades. Built on a commitment to quality, professionalism, and customer care, the business has remained family-owned and operated through the generations, continuing the values that have been at the heart of the company since its beginnings.

Today, Clippers operates two locations across Dublin, providing expert hair services tailored to the needs of men, women, and families.

Our Locations

  • Clippers Hair Salon – located in Northside Shopping Centre, offering professional hairdressing services in a welcoming environment.

  • Clippers Barbers – located in Clarehall Shopping Centre, providing traditional and contemporary barbering services.

A Family Tradition Since 1972

What began with the vision and dedication of Mary Sloan has grown into a trusted local business that has served generations of customers. Throughout the years, Clippers has evolved with changing styles and techniques while maintaining the personal service and community spirit that have defined the business from the beginning.

As a family-run company, we believe in building lasting relationships with our clients and creating an experience that combines professional expertise with genuine care. Many of our customers have been with us for decades, and we are proud to welcome new generations into the Clippers family.
